MBBS( 'Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery')

MBBS full-form is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. MBBS is a 5.5-years long UG course that is divided into 4.5years of core study and 1 year of internship in any field of medicine.
MBBS admission is only granted to students through the entrance exam. The only entrance exam for MBBS in India is NEET.

MBBS is divided into 9 semesters. During the entire 4.5 years duration, students will study elaborately various subjects such as Anatomy, Pediatrics, Physiology, Pathology, Anesthesiology, Community Medicine, Surgery, etc. In order to match the MBBS eligibility criteria, aspirants need to complete their 10+2 examination with 50% marks in the science stream with Biology as a mandatory subject.
